The Good for PoC Launch Event kicks off on June 7, 2016, and you're invited to join us. We'll have a Q&A panel featuring amazing speakers talking about their experiences as people of color in tech. Attendees will have access to unique career advice as well as food, beverages, and fun networking opportunities.

Nicole is a freelance product designer and front-end developer based out of Brooklyn, NY.

Iheanyi Ekechukwu is a Software Engineer at DigitalOcean and co-host of the podcast Two Black Nerds.


He previously worked at IBM Watson and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Computer Science and Graphic Design.

Jamila Aisha Brown is a digital strategist well-versed in the creation and implementation of global and domestic advocacy campaigns online.


She is the founder of HUE, a social entrepreneurship that specializes in digital communications throughout the African diaspora.

Kyle is a Software Engineer at YouNow.


He previously instructed the Web Development for Teens course at NYCDA and participated in the HackNY Fellowship.

Marisa is a Talent Coordinator, supporting Engineering and Product recruiting at Etsy.


She hails from the bay area (born and raised in Berkeley and San Francisco), and now calls Brooklyn home after finding innovative uses for her cultural studies degree from Smith College.
